The ICFJ Knight International Journalism Award is open for nominations, and the good news is that you can nominate yourself, should you feel deserving. It doesn’t matter if you’re a hard-core hack, a hoity editor or a nerdy techie, they’re specifically looking for coverage and innovation that has had impact on the world. (That said, I think you probably have a better chance if you’re of the investigative journalist variety. If you have an actual hit out on you, tapped phones and your own Tor address, you’ve got an advantage.) The winners gets a free dinner. And tons of props. But mostly a free dinner.
Apply now, because nominations close on 23 February 2020.
